“Stitch ‘n Pitch, the Perfect Double Play is an event promoted by TNNA (The National NeedleArts Association).  It brings together two American traditions – baseball and needle arts”.  So far there are 23 major league baseball teams participating and holding their own “Stitch ‘n Pitch” days where they encourage stitchers of every variety to come to a game and stitch while watching the game.  The Huntsville Stars, farm team for the Milwaukee Brewers, graciously agreed to host our own “Stitch ‘n Pitch” night here in Huntsville the last two years.  EGA and ANG invited all stitchers in the area to come out to Joe Davis Stadium that night and support both the Stars and needle arts.  Stay tuned for the date of this year's event – what better way to introduce us to new stitchers!!!  This is a great event to visually promote stitching and our chapters and get the info out to others in our community.  Think about coming out and enjoying an evening of baseball and stitching.  The date and time will be announced later.  Make this a homerun for all of us!
