The Alabama Chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. welcomes stitchers of every stitching level. We have monthly programs, Group Correspondence Courses, stitch-ins, bead interest groups, and many more interesting things to keep you stitching. We will challenge you, invigorate your stitching time, and teach you something along the way. Come join us. Check out the About Page for times and places. And now we have a Facebook Page: Alabama EGA. In 2010, Alabama Chapter has an exciting year planned: 1 Correspondence Course, new Petite Projects, Gloria McKinnon from Australia in May, a special project for Potpopurri, and many more projects. Join us for all the activities we have planned. We'll start the year with our annual dinner meeting and a lecture by Pat Kyser, a nationally-known expert on the world of quilting and crazy quilts. Wow!!! Over the summer, our members will be attending SAS XXX in Charleston, WV and the EGA National Seminar in San Francisco. The Huntsville/Madison County Library will host our Christmas tree decorated with stitched ornaments in December. And remember the National Stitch in Public Day on Saturday, February 6. February is National Embroidery Month. We have a full year planned with exciting events and programs. Stop by to see what we are doing and become a member. We hope to see you at one of our meetings.
